    GOODBYE...

Post by mikeseaton on Sun 15 Jul 2012, 5:43 pm

    ...to the .Telegraph newsletter !

It's become clear that there is unlikely to be a new issue of the .Telegraph newsletter appearing - Telnic please prove me wrong !

This Telnic quarterly newsletter was due in June, but here we are 15 July and no sign of it, nor any explanation as to why it has not appeared !

The link where it should be at http://telnic.org/newsletters/dottelegraph-jun12.html is still a dead link (as of 15 July).

So for those who want to study the history of the .tel extension, here's a link to the complete .Telegraph collection - http://newsletters.dot-tel.mikeseaton.tel

    Enjoy !

Because of negligence with reference to software development, marketing and communication it will take much more time to lead .tel to success now. Telnic upset early participants already, so they have left the party. A momentum can be realized only by attracting new people which are not displeased by the previous treatment. It’s not fair to cut the communication to your loyal partners.

There is an update from Aled Williams on Telnic's forum today following the
non-appearance of the June .Telegraph newsletter.

It's at thread http://telnic.org/forum/showthread.php?t=2986 but of course you won't be able to click this link to view unless you're logged-in since "Lock-Down" is still in place on Telnic's forum. Here's the two posts in the thread:

Aled, are you still going to produce a newlsetter?

Aled Williams (Director of Customer Services, Telnic.org)
    Hi,

Going forward, we'll be providing news updates as and when appropriate, as we did with the notification on the new templates last month.

    Thanks,
    Aled

Thank you for the update, Mike!

For the future I wish we'll see more marketing to prospects than to existing customers.
